The humble beginnings
The Lake City RC Club revved its engines for the first time in 2022, born from the shared passion of a small group of RC racing enthusiasts. With a simple garden hose marking our tracks and an empty parking lot as our arena, we gathered every second and fourth Sunday. It was here, amidst friendly competition and shared laughter, that the foundation of our vibrant club was laid.
Growing together, racing as one
What began as a small gathering has flourished into an established community of over 40 members. We're incredibly proud of the culture we've fostered: one built on camaraderie, healthy competition, and pure fun. Every race, every meet-up, strengthens the bonds that make our club truly special. Beyond the thrill of the track, the Lake City RC Club is deeply woven into the fabric of our local community in Lake City, Florida. We proudly participate in cherished local events like the annual Christmas Parade, the 4th of July Celebration, and the Haunted House.
