Class Rules For 2026

                    

Open Novice

Novice class is strictly for new or rookie drivers. The club has all rights to move a person out of novice class. The main reasons you would be moved out of the class would be if you are dominating the class or just way too fast for the class.

 

Chassis

1. Any 1/10 scale car,buggy, or truck is allowed

Motor/ESC

1. Any 1/10 scale motor will be allowed. Brushed or brushless.

2. Any 1/10 scale ESC will be allowed.

 

Transmissions

1. Any transmission will be allowed in novice class(please understand that if you move up a class your transmission might not be by the rules.

2. Any spur gear can be run

3. Stock slipper clutch has to be in working order

 

Battery

1. Any brand 2s lipo battery brand is allowed

2. Any brand 6 or 7 cell Nimh or Nicad battery is aloud

 

Tires

1. Any tires and wheels are allowed(but might not be by the rules when you move up a class)

 

Body

1. Any body is allowed as long as it stays in place

There is no reverse allowed

 

Lightning Stock/Novice Lightning Stock(Shared rules)

This class is a stock class and made to be fun and affordable. Straight out of the box unless rules state what can be done

 

Transmitter/receiver

1.Must use stock transmitter/receiver(in stock location)

 

Chassis

1. Redcat lightning stk only

2. Upgraded cvd axles allowed(come on some new cars stock)

3. Chassis has to be completely stock

4. No upgraded parts allowed. If part is broken it has to be replaced with original style part

5. Stock shocks and springs that came with that model and brand. Spacer clips are allowed

6. Toe/camber can be changed

 

Motor

1. Motor has to remain completely stock.

2. Motor fans are allowed

 

ESC

1. ESC has to be stock(HW-WP-1040-BRUSHED) and in stock location. No changing out for higher amp ESC

2. ESC fan is allowed

3. ESC has to be n race mode. No reverse

 

Gearing

1. 58t spur

2. 26t pinion

 

Battery

1. 2s lipo 50c or lower is allowed. Nothing over

2. An 6 or 7 cell Nimh or Nicad is allowed

3. Any battery connector is allowed

4. No spiking of the battery

 

Tires

1. Any 1/10 rubber touring car tire is allowed

2. No soaking of tires

3. Tires can be no taller than 2.75” and no wider than 1”

 

Wheels

1. Any stock size wheels okay(must be plastic)

 

Body

1. No decked body

2. Must be stock full fender car body(no buggy or anything of the sort style bodies

3. All body panels must be complete at start of the event

4. Cover all holes(other than transponder mount and body post holes) with tape

 

Street Stock/Bomber

 

Chassis

1. Any 1/10 OEM 2 wheel drive buggy

2. No aftermarket chassis. No custom built chassis

3. No adjustable rear arms are permitted

4. Big bore shocks allowed. Clip or adjustable

5. Racing springs allowed. Any weight

6. Any weight shock oil can be used

7. Toe/camber can be set at any degree. Shock angle can be set at any place

8. Sway bars allowed

9. Stock battery tray has to remain in stock location. Offset tray is not allowed even if you aren’t using it

10. 2 oz of weight is allowed. Must have weight marked by factory and must be inside chassis

11. Stock shock towers

 

Transmission

1. Stock transmission for your model buggy. No swapping

2. Spur and pinion gear can be changed

 

Motor

1. 17.5 turn

2. Motor fan okay

 

ESC

1. Must have and be in blinky mode

 

Battery

1. 2s lipo only

 

Tires/Wheels

1. 2.2 rubber buggy tires only

2. 2.2 wheels only

3. No soaking of any tires allowed

4. Tires and wheels must be buggy style and must be in correct location(no fronts on back or vice versa)

 

Body

1. Must have closed windows(no decked bodies)

2. Must be specifically manufactured for street stock/bomber

3. 1 inch wing for spoiler okay

4. No side spoiler allowed

 

Lightning Truck(non points class)

This class is a stock class and made to be fun and affordable. Straight out of the box unless rules state what can be done

 

Transmitter/receiver

1.Must use stock transmitter/receiver

 

Chassis

1. Redcat lightning stk only

3. Chassis has to be completely stock

SCT Late Model

 

Chassis

1. Any 1/10 2wd short course truck model or brand is allowed

2. If running a 4wd chassis front driveshafts have to be removed

3. No aftermarket or homemade chassis are aloud

4. No 1/8 scale short trucks allowed

5. Chassis has to remain stock but can offset battery to the left

6. Adjustable rear arms aren’t allowed

7. If battery is located to the left of car, no extra weight on left side is allowed. 3oz if battery is in stock location

8. Any spur or pinion gear is allowed

 

Transmission

1. Transmission has to be in stock location

2. Spur gear can have a slipper eliminator instead of slipper clutch

 

Shocks/Springs

1. Any 1/10 or 1/8 shock is allowed. Adjustable or clip

2. Any racing springs can be used

3. Any weight shock oil can be used

4. Shock towers can be upgraded

5. Any shock placement is allowed

6. Sway bars are allowed

7. Toe/camber can be set at any degree

 

Motor

1. Has to be a 1/10 3800kv or less or 10.5 or more turn brushless motor. Sensored/sensorless allowed

2.Motor fan is allowed

 

ESC

1. Any Blinky mode ESC is allowed

2. All ESCs to be in race mode. NO REVERSE

3. ESC fan is allowed

 

Battery

1. Any 2s lipo is allowed

 

Tires/wheels

1. Any 2.2/3.0 SCT ire’s are allowed

2. No 1/8 tires or wheels

3. Tire soaking is allowed

4. 2.8 rims with premounted SC,MT,or ST tires allowed. Pre mounted only if 2.8

 

Body

1. 1/8 or SCT late model body

2. Decking of body is allowed

3. 1 ½ inch rear wing is allowed

4. No drivers side spoiler is allowed

 

 

Buggy Late Model

 

Chassis

1. Any 1/10 OEM 2 wheel drive buggy(no 4wd converted chassis)

2. No aftermarket chassis. No custom built chassis

3. No adjustable rear arms are permitted

4. Big bore shocks allowed. Clip or adjustable

5. Racing springs allowed. Any weight

6. Any weight shock oil can be used

7. Toe/camber can be set at any degree. Shock angle can be set at any place

8. Sway bars allowed

9. Stock battery tray has to remain in stock location. Offset tray is not allowed even if you aren’t using it

10. 2 oz of weight is allowed. Must have weight marked by factory and must be inside chassis

1. Any 1/10 or 1/8 shocks allowed

2. Any racing springs weights allowed

3. Any weight shock oil allowed

4. Any shock towers allowed

5. Toe/camber can be set at any degree

 

Motor

1. Any 1/10 motor allowed

2. Any spur and pinion gear allowed

3. Motor fans allowed

 

ESC

1. Any 1/10 scale ESC is allowed

2. ESC has to be in race mode. No reverse

 

Battery

1. Any 2s lipo allowed

 

Tire/Wheels

1. Any SCT tires or 1/10 scale buggy tires and wheels allowed

 

Body

1. Any wing sprint body allowed

 

 

Slash Street Stock

 

1. Must use stock Traxxas Slash 2wd chassis or LCG chassis and components, unmodified, unless otherwise specified. No modifying, replacing, or removing any components unless otherwise specified. May use any plastic body mounts of your choosing

2. All suspension components must be installed in the proper position and orientation on the car from the factory (EXAMPLE: Left caster block on the left; right block on the right, suspension arms right side up, etc.). No aluminum parts other than shock caps. All parts must be factory traxxas 2wd parts.

3. The "hoop" and "ears" on the front bumper may be cut off, however, the main area of the bumper must remain intact (unless you are running a body manufactures front body mount/bumper.

4. Transmitter/Receiver and servo may be replaced. (Servo saver will also not be a tech item)

5. Locking or modifying the differential in any way will not be allowed. The differential must have normal diff action when rotating one rear tire against the normal compression (resistance) of the motor. No ball diffs.

6. NO SWAY BARS

7. No more than 2.5 ounces of additional weight(inside the tub only). The ESC and receiver can be mounted anywhere in the main chassis plate area only.

8. GEAR DIFF Locking or modifying the differential in any way will not be allowed. The differential must have normal diff action when rotating one rear tire against the normal compression (resistance) of the motor. No ball diffs.

9. Motor, ESC, & Battery: Must use the stock XL-5 ESC(unaltered) & unaltered Titan 12t 550 brushed motor or traxxas bl-2s system. Tuning, tweaking, or modifying the motor in any way will not be allowed. Soldering the connectors together is not allowed.

10. No cooling fans on the motor or esc.

11. Any 2s 7.4v lipo

12. Battery must be mounted in the stock center tray location, but can be moved forward or back as long as it stays within the stock boundaries of the battery tray. Any plug may be used for the battery to ESC connection. However, direct soldering to the battery will not be allowed.

13. Tires, Wheels, & Inserts: Must be 1/10 with 12mm hub.

14. Shocks & Springs: Any Slash tuning spring by Traxxas will be allowed. Springs may not be cut or altered from factory in any way. Aluminum shock caps (any color) are allowed. The shock oil or shock travel/length will not be mandated. 2-stage pistons or any modification to the shock piston to tune the compression and rebound separately will not be allowed. Can only be limted internally

15. OPEN GEARING

16. If it doesn’t state that you can use or do it to the car it’s NOT ALLOWED! President has final say over all rules!

17. Body must be 1/8th scale street stock body. No truck bodies. If you show up the first race with the wrong body, you will be permitted to run your body one time.

18. Hinge pins can be replaced with RCHUBAM Slash Lock-nut style hinge pin(amazon)

 

Losi NASCAR

BOX STOCK CLASS

•Chassis:-1/12 Losi NASCAR§No modifications to the chassis tub, nerf bars, bumpers or suspension areallowed. Nothing can be removed.§AWD only.§Noweights may be added

•Body:-Allowed Bodies§Losi NASCAR Chevrolet Camaro§LosiNASCAR Ford Mustang§Losi NASCAR Toyota Camry-The bodies can either be factory painted/decaled or painted/wrappedin yourown color scheme.-The body must have numbers on the roof and both doors.

Losi Sprint-Spec Class

 

1. Losi 22s Sprint Car- Original Kit Parts materials only unless otherwise noted

2. Motor-3300kv (Firma 3300kv-SPMXSM4800)

3. Speed Control- (Firma 45 Lite-SPMX-1106) in standard location with original connector

4. Tires- Losi Sprint tires or any 2.2 buggy tire(must be used in correct location)

5. Battery must be 2s lipo 50c or less. Must be in standard area but may be repositioned with kit battery stops.

6. TX/RX of your choice but RX must be located in standard location.

7. Must be Losi 22s Sprint car body. All Parts(headers,bumper/nerf bars, driver etc.) must remain on the car.

8. Must be factory wing unless we do a wingless day.

9. Servo must be spectrum SPMS684, Savox SC0254MGP, Savox SC0252MG/P, or Traxxas 2075/X/R

10. May use Losi included servo saver, Stiff servo saver spring, or one piece 25t servo horn.

11. Must use gear diff(LOS232039, 84t spur(LOS232038 or TLR232012), no bigger than 24t pinion gear. No altering motor plate at all.

12. Must use TLR Shock pistons.

13. May change all oils and fluids in car

14. May use Springs from spring sets LOS-2604, LOS-1885 or Losi 22 Off-Road Springs

15. May use non-oem ball stud/cup/tie-rod combination to include traxxas parts

16. May swap wheel hex locations

17. May use 30mm fan in provided location

 

 

 

Traxxas Modified

 

1. Traxxas 2wd modified

2. OEM Chassis and suspension parts only unless otherwise stated. No aftermarket hopup or aluminum upgrade parts

3. Arms to be in correct location

4. No add on weights

5. No alterations unless specifically stated in these rules

6. Motor:BL-2S

7. ESC: BL-2S

8. Your choice of TX/RX but must in stock location with receiver box, box lid may be removed to accommodate RX

9. Servo must be Traxxas 2075/X/R or savox 0252MG/P

10. One piece solid servo horns are allowed

11. 2s lipo battery 50c or less only.

12. Battery must be in stock location but may be shimmed forward or backward. Battery Brace can be trimmed to accommodate different lipo wire configuration but must be stock.

13. Must be clipless traxxas modified body

14. Rear wheel arches may be trimmed for clearance

15. Spur gear must be 76, 83, 86, or 90t

16. Pinion open as long as motor plate doesn’t have to be altered

17. Stock 272R transmission only

18. Traxxas mod or late model tires/wheels only. No tire sauce

19. Original Traxxas Mod Springs(5434) only

20. Shock stroke may be shortened with shims, fuel tubing etc.

21. All fluids are allowed to be changed

22. Bushing/bearings may be upgraded

23. Traxxas black/grey wheel hexes may be used in any location

 

 

 

Slash Street/Truck

 

1. Must use stock Traxxas Slash 2wd chassis or LCG chassis and components, unmodified, unless otherwise specified. No modifying, replacing, or removing any components unless otherwise specified. May use any plastic body mounts of your choosing

17. Body must be shark truck body made for traxxas slash. No car bodies.

18. Hinge pins can be replaced with RCHUBAM Slash Lock-nut style hinge pin(amazon)

 

 

Mudboss

 

Motor & ESC:

The Traxxas BL-2S combo (Traxxas #3382, #3383, or #3384) is mandatory, and modifications to the motor are prohibited.

 

Battery:

A 2-cell, 7.4v, 5200mah, 50c hard-case LiPo battery with an external plug is required. No "bullet type" or "bullet style" connectors are permitted.

 

Gearing:

Any Traxxas spur gear (Traxxas #4686 or #4690) can be used with any tooth pinion.

Chassis & Body

·                            Chassis: You must use the stock Traxxas Slash 2wd chassis and components. 

·                            Body: You must use Official Salvas MudBoss or equivalent bodies. Minor body modifications are allowed for mounting, but you may also brace the rear body post mount. 

Suspension 

·                            Shocks: You can use various shock oils and internal shims to adjust ride height and droop.

·                            Shocks: Aluminum shock caps are allowed, but no other aluminum shocks.

·                            Pistons & Bump Stops: Only original pistons from the kit are allowed (1, 2, or 3 hole versions). A single, original blue bump stop is allowed per rear shock.

Tires 

·                            Tires: Stock Traxxas tires or approved alternatives like Hoosier or Hot Laps tires are permitted.

·                            Tires: You are not allowed to use metal beadlocks due to the extra weight.

General

·                            Servo: A Traxxas 2075 servo or a Savox SC-0252 Digital Servo are allowed. 

·                            Remote: You may use any transmitter and receiver

 

 

 

 

General Rules

1. Two false starts. This means everyone has not completed a full lap and a caution occurs. After two false starts, the person who causes the caution will go to the back

2. We go on the tone, if you go before the tone then you will automatically go to the tail

3. No arguing with the person running the timer system. What the computer says goes If you disagree with what the computer tells them, you may question it. If you yell/argue with the person running the timer system, you will be disqualified from that race. If you do it twice in the same day, you are DQ’d from all races for the day.

5. Heats are 20 laps

6. Features are 50 laps

7. We will normally only have 6 cars on the track. If a B-Main is required, it will be 30 laps

8. No sharp edges/hard metal sticking outside the body of a car.

9. No reverse allowed. Use of reverse during a race will cause for an immediate DQ from that class for the day

10. We do not have a transmitter rule. This rule can be changed at any time and you will have 2 weeks to replace with a legal transmitter

11. Your transponder is not the responsibility of the track. If your transponder stops working during the race, we will not stop the race and you will not be scored.

12. If you are caught cheating, you will lose your points for current and previous 2 races for that class.

13. Club members pay $20 per day for unlimited classes.

14. Non club members pay $25 for the first class and $10 for each additional class.

15. Transponders are available to be rented for $5 or for sale for $30

16. No arguing with other drivers. Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. If you want to yell/argue you will be DQ’d from that race for the day. If you do it twice in the same day, you will be DQ’d from all classes for that day.

17. Rules may be added/changed at any time with warning.

18. We race the 2nd and 4th Sunday every month at 1pm

19. Club dues are $50 for the year if paid between 1/1 and 6/31, if paid after 6/31 it will be a prorated fee of $25 for the remainder of the year

20. No racer can race more than half of the classes for that day.

 

 

How Points Are Determined

Based on finishing position in main race only.

1. 100 points

2. 91 points

3. 83 points

4. 76 points

5. 70 points

6. 61 points

7. 57 points

8. 50 points

If there is a tie it will be broken by who finished higher in the most recent points race.
